There are only a few falls in Croatia that are this beautiful.

Within the Krka National Park in Croatia, our favorites include the breathtaking Skradinski Buk and Roški Slap.

Skradinski Buk is the largest waterfall on the beautiful River Krka, and it’s also got a huge natural pool. This spectacular series of cascades is one of the most famous waterfalls in Croatia. The waterfall sits at the entrance of the national park and is today one of the best places to experience this Croatia waterfall from a unique perspective. You’re also very close to Skradin, so there are plenty of places to stay.

Note: you can’t swim at these waterfalls anymore.

14. Roški Slap

Another waterfall located on the River Krka, you’ll find Roski Slap in the very popular Krka National Park. In addition to the beautiful sight of the waterfall, you’ll also find historical monuments around the waterfall. Also, be sure to check out the cave over the waterfall.

15. Slap Krčić

Slap Krčić, located near Knin, is popular with locals during the summer months, thanks to the biking and hiking tracks in and around the area and the shaded areas, ideal for getting away from the heat.

16. Visoki Buk Zrmanja Waterfall

The best time to visit the waterfall is between spring and autumn. Visoki Buk Zrmanja, found along the River Zrmanja, cascades down around 9 meters. This might not be the biggest fall in terms of height, but its natural beauty is huge.

In Istria, you will find this hidden gem of a fall in Croatia, located on the Mirna River. There are several small waterfalls within the series, and at the end, you will find a natural jacuzzi.

20. Zarecki Kroc

Zarecki Kroc is the ideal place to enjoy the summer weather in Istria. This is one of the largest waterfalls in the area and falls into a vast lake, which is around 10 meters deep.

31. Strbacki Buk

The premier natural attraction in Una National Park is Štrbački Buk, a collection of spectacular waterfalls and cascades in the Una River. This fantastic series of waterfalls and rapids is arguably also the most photogenic spot in the entire park—a major highlight that should by no means be missed.

Štrbački Buk is the tallest waterfall you can access in the Una National Park. Standing tall at 24.5 meters, this fall will not disappoint.
